Comments: This is a hidden gem of an aquarium. Not only are the display exhibits well designed and very well taken care of, but the staff is amazing, engaged and very knowledgeable. This is a must visit if you are in the Charleston, SC area. Nice part is it is right next door to the Fort Sumter State Park building.

Comments: An amazing piece of history that you must see. Experiencing these historic sites give you an idea what it must have been like to live through the civil war. This is one of the better National Park Site tours. The rangers are very knowledgeable in all aspects of live at the fort. Nice ferry ride out to the island is a bonus.

Comments: Large RV park with 50/50 partial/full hookup sites. All flat sites with gravel and lots of grass. Most sites are pull through large enough for the big rigs. Everything was clean. The only issues we had was the WiFi was terrible. I wasted way to much time trying to get service and the park was not even a quarter filled. They did have cable TV so that took the place of streaming. I did have good cell service with the three providers. There are only three washing machines in the whole park. There is a laundromat across the street, but this leads into the issue which is not the parks fault. Traffic on the Savannah Highway at the RV park is bad. They are close to a traffic light which generally always has the left turn lane backed up. Turning right out of the park is not a big problem. Turning left is another story. Hence we never tried to cross five lanes of traffic to get to the laundromat. If you want to visit the Charleston area, this is a great place to call home for that visit.
